And.....I'm Back!

After a brief hibernation into my cave of study/spring break/study I've re-entered the blogger world. Ahhh, it feels good to be back -- the sound of my keyboard projecting letters onto blogger.com is like music to my ears.

First and foremost, I'd like to announce the beginning of baseball season -- I went to the Padre's last spring training game and we're looking strong. Our outfield's a little weak and Trevor Hoffman a little off these days, but I think we've got a good shot at the league title. My and Original LP's fantasy team (called Beat the Dodgers) is kicking ASS might I add. The overall winner gets 10 Gs -- wish me luck.

Secondly, my tennis coaching stint at Willard Middle School has come to close. But...track begins next week! Chester's boyfriend Coady is my co-coach, and thank God for that because I have no idea what to do when it comes to track matters. Like cross country, Willard will compete against other schools (which is my favorite part). Hopefully with Coady's superb coaching abilities we can take the championship just like cross country.

And speaking of Middle Schools...Teach for America is fast approaching. I've been receiving my "Pre-Insitute" training materials/sending resumes to New Orleans Middle Schools/making plane reservations. Here's how my schedule breaks down:
May 27thish - depart from Berkeley to San Diego
June 10th - depart from San Diego to New Orleans
June 15th - depart from New Orleans to Phoenix
July 19th - Original LP picks me up in Phoenix and we drive to New Orleans
July 21st - Arrive in New Orleans
August 11thish - First Day of School!
Whew, I'm revving the engines for the marathon -- Teach for America better prep for LP-Town

And on the horizon -- keep watch for the official invitation for the Puma+Zowie Cine/Spin; all I'm gonna say is that it's gonna be badass
