Whew, on and on and on and on

Officially tapped out of fall semester 2007 and I'm feeling optimistic about the spring.

But....its time for bit of village life during the interim. Oh, and how blissful village life is:

10:30am -- Bayporter pickup

2:50pm -- Retreat to the world of Ira Glass and the Ties that Bind while flying down the California Coast (quite a fitting podcast for the flight cause I'm missing my sistas back in Berkeley)

2:30pm -- Airport pick up by Aunt Arlene: "Oooooooh my God Zowie, look at all your luggage, you're just like Lauren from The Hills"

4:00pm -- Zen beach run: Stonesteps to Grandview -- you know you've been studying too much when you run through the process of ocean sediment accumulation while watching the waves wash up to the shore. Here's my beach!

6:00pm -- Happy hour with mama Pryor at Sbicca -- my former place of employance. I saw all my old work friends chuckled at my mom trying to eat albacore with her new braces

9:00pm -- Watched the Poinsettia BCS Bowl with the Original LP and traded baseball stats and player trading rumors

11:00pm -- Irish car bomb at Schmuckle's with Tyler, Jack, Trisha, and Darren

12:00am -- High school reunion and spider bite shots at the Saloon: Zowiehyper mood was in full effect as I reminisced with my sister's old friend about being chased in circles by her pot bellied pig at the impressionable age of 8 (to this day I'll still argue that pigs are more dangerous than the racoons lurking by the White House dumpster)

2:30am -- Climb up onto cousin's roof with Jack and Darren. Howl at the moon contest results: First Place Darren, Second Place Jack, Third Place Zowie (shit cuz, well at least I didn't fall off the roof)

9:00am -- Read the Art of War at cousin's kitchen table

9:45am -- Back at my parent's house eating oatmeal with banana
