We stayed at the Golden Nugget hotel in downtown Vegas which featured a water slide and aquarium with live shark and sea bass. Unfortunately, I forgot my swim suit so I didn't get to slide with the sharks. Instead, I spent the majority of my early evening at the single deck 21 tables betting five dollars per hand -- and I'm happy to say that I came out several dollars on top.
After dinner, we perused the Downtown and then headed to The Strip. I ran around the Bellagio and Caesar's Palace poking my head in on the high rollers, doing some Chip and Dale's stalking (as Puma would appreciate), and investigating the Pussycat Doll's club. After my Irish coffee, I got my second wind and wanted to dance and gamble until the wee hours of the morning. The sister/husband and I returned to the Golden Nugget gambling room and met up with the Original LP at the International Beer Bar. At around 2am, I was in no position to play 21 and found myself sipping Gin and Tonics in front of Zeus's Greek Penny slot until 4:30am. It was glorious.
The glory continued this evening upon arriving at Uncle Carl's house straight from LV. Uncle Carl prepared a gourmet stew dinner with olive bread and cabbage salad -- it was money almost sweeter than the Zeus's golden coins.
Uncle Paul, Mama Pryor, Aunt Arlene, Uncle Carl
Presently, I've got a belly full of organic beef stew, a few extra bucks in my wallet, a finished copy of The Rise of Bob Marley the Legend, and a more enlightened understanding of married life (which is only natural after spending two full days exclusively with two married couples)
